Blog 3 - Religion
In Chile, religion has lost a lot of weight over the years because there is no longer trust in the "parents/priests" and in general in the church.
A few years ago came to light many news of child abuse, terrible and imaginable stories. Pedophile abuses have caused many people to move away from the church because how can we continue to believe?
This has always happened, only before parents did not usually believe a child "the father touched me" was something irrational, impossible to believe that a "priest/father" abused a child, they believed that children invented it, , even the parents of the children accused them with the same "priests/parents" with the intention that they would "correct" them can imagine how that ended.
Another very questionable thing about the church is: to think that it sees homosexuality more dangerous than a rapist, or that the same "sexuality" is seen as a sin, are issues that for me have NOTHING of meaning.
Personally, if I believe in a "GOD", in a powerful and unimaginable energy for our reasoning capacity, but there is no possibility for me that a human can "forgive you for your mistakes" or that it is "an earthly representation of God."
And tell me, do you still believe in the church?🤔

ResponderEliminarI don't believe in the church either and not only in the catholic church, but I don't believe in any of them, I prefer to have my own ideas about a god and not follow a religion that prevents me or forces me to do things I don't like.
In answer to your question, no, I have never believed in the church as such. I share your opinion, very good blog

ResponderEliminarI think like you, I don't believe and I respect all religion but If one representative of a religion make a mistake terrible, This person should receive a punishment and the religion mustn't protect this person.
