BLOG 5 - GHOSTING

Hello people, I have a question have you heard of ghosting?

In recent years mental health in people almost does not exist anymore, there are many hours of work or study that are at a level of collapse really impressive. Ghosting is a colloquial term used to refer to action of moving away from someone with whom you had a relationship (love/friendship), without giving explanations. It is a practice that has caused an immense level of anxiety in many people.

Why do people practice ghosting?

1) Fear of rejection and problems with maintaining stable relationships.

2) Low self-esteem.

3) Narcissistic complex.

4) They protect themselves, they establish rigid limits.

But let's talk about why this practice is so negative, it "breaks" the trust and security of the person because he does not find an explanation for his actions. Our brain is a constant releaser of neurotransmitters that through stimuli generate questions and expect answers, therefore, rejection activities like this cause high levels of stress and pain.

Specialists recommend that in the face of ghosting situations it is best to let go, it is the easiest way to heal and if there is curiosity or need to know about the other person it is best to remember negative attitudes to produce a rejection towards the person.

What do you think of ghosting? Best regards.

  3. I think this happens a lot with teenagers, but it is controversial for both sides, on the one hand people don't just walk away, there is always a reason behind it, which generates discomfort for both sides... that's why I say it's better to be alone than in bad company.
